Today, we are sharing Anwar's story. Displaced from Palestine in 1947, Anwar's family endured decades of hardship across Lebanon and Kuwait.

They faced wars, political instability, and harsh living conditions. Despite these immense challenges, Anwar pursued his education and worked tirelessly to support his family.

His journey to the UK in search of asylum was filled with difficulties, including detention and bureaucratic hurdles. Yet, Anwar's resilience and determination never wavered. He continues to fight for a better future, embodying the unyielding hope for a safe and secure home.

This Refugee Week, let’s stand together to support individuals like Anwar, helping them heal and build new lives.
