Nafsiyat is launching a psychosocial group programme aimed at providing accessible and culturally sensitive mental health support to marginalised and racialised communities in North London. This programme focuses on fostering mental wellbeing through regular, professionally-led group sessions that create safe spaces for participants to explore their mental health challenges, connect with others, and build resilience.

Programme Details

  • Arabic, Amharic, and Tigrinya Women's Group
    A well-established group offering support to approximately 40 refugee women each year.

  • Arabic-speaking Men's Group
    A newly developed group targeting Arabic-speaking men, offering 15 participants the opportunity to engage in weekly sessions over 15 weeks.

  • Turkish-speaking Men's Group
    Similar to the Arabic-speaking Men's Group, this new initiative offers 15 Turkish-speaking men the chance to participate in a 15-week programme.

  • Mixed Gender Mental Health Group Therapy
    This open group is designed for 15 participants from various North London communities, particularly those from racialised backgrounds for 30 weeks.

  • 18+
