Nafsiyat has been shortlisted for the Charity Awards in the Healthcare and Medical Research category!

Nafsiyat has been shortlisted for the Charity Awards 2024! All of us at Nafsiyat are delighted to announce that we've made the shortlist for this year’s Charity Awards, the longest-running and most prestigious awards scheme in the charity sector. Nafsiyat has been shortlisted in the Healthcare and Medical Research category for its Arabic, Amharic and Tigrinya-speaking Women's project, hosted by Sega Habtom, which aims to alleviate isolation and unmet mental health needs by offering culturally and linguistically appropriate therapy to isolated women, including domestic abuse survivors and asylum seekers.

The Charity Awards, which announces its shortlist today, is the sector’s most highly-regarded excellence recognition scheme. All 30 shortlisted charities this year have been judged by an independent panel of sector leaders as having demonstrated best practice in leadership and management, from which other organisations can learn.
